We start this episode off with a discussion of the recent school shooting at the Parkland Stoneman Douglas High School. We discuss the various aspects of the case, focusing especially on the “false flag” narratives and how conspiracy theories use partial or falsified information to discredit the real and horrific tragedy these students face. We collectively agree the type of sick mind it takes to attacks student survivors just to protect guns. We then move on to a review of Black Panther. We talk about the success of the movie, it’s cultural impact, it’s connections to the comic book, and the intellectual tradition behind Afrofuturism.
