Bernie Sanders is running for 2020 and we have some thoughts. Though most of us align with Sander’s platform and are excited for his candidacy, we do share some concerns about the toxic nature of the primaries and the crowded field. We discuss the risk and stakes of the primary and what it can mean for our country. We then take a turn for the nerdy as we discuss our favorite movie villains and what they reveal about society’s concept of good and evil. Ali talks the Empire from Star Wars while Diz incoherently muddles the message of Ursula from Little Mermaid and Frollo from Hunchback of Notre Dame. Vy gives us an interesting take on Ozymandias and we break down movie villains and the nature of heroes.
